Las redes sociales y la sexualidad en el Instituto Tecnológico Superior Carlos Cisneros

The research is about the social networks study and the relationship with sexuality in the first semester of the Electromechanical career at "Carlos Cisneros" Higher Technological Institute. Without technology, communication with friends or family from different parts of the world was very different. Nowadays, technology has exceeded the communication limits creating social networks, a more practical and straightforward way to communicate. The use of technology has harmed the sexuality of young people who decide to have sexual meetings with their partners online. To achieve the study's objective, which consisted of identifying the risks of addiction of social networks in the students' sexuality we worked with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational type, by the primary objective, by the field location and transversal type. The techniques used were psychometric tests with their respective instruments. For the independent variable, Scale of risk of addiction-adolescent to social networks and internet (ERA-RSI) and for the dependent variable, Instrument for risky sexual behaviors in users of virtual social networks (based on "The Internet Sex Screening Test"). The sample was not probabilistic and intentional, composed of 80 male students from the first semester of Electro-mechanics at "Carlos Cisneros" Higher Technological Institute. The results of the "Scale of risk of addiction - adolescent to social networks and the Internet" showed no addiction to social networks in students. In contrast, in the "Instrument of risk sex risk behaviors in users of virtual social networks," it determined of students' sexual behavior is at a high level, indicating that there are sexting and texting.
