| Περίληψη: | ABSTRACT: Photogrammetry is a technique for obtaining three-dimensional models from capturing photographs at different angles, heights, and positions to produce at least five intersections among them. This research work aims to consider photogrammetry as a valuable alternative for obtaining 3D models in dentistry; this project aimed to create three-dimensional digital models from a study model in plaster, proposing a protocol based on four stages (Preparation, Capture of photographs, digitization, and Editing) starting with the preparation of the model, digitalization and edition) starting with the reconstruction of the object and ending with its edition, using tools that are easily accessible to professionals and students, such as the adaptive camera of an iPhone 12, a photographic set built according to the operator's needs, and two free use software, the first one for the reconstruction (Agisoft Metashape Standard) and the second one for the edition of the obtained models (Blender). Fifteen plaster study models were used, previously selected according to the criteria exposed in the methodology. An average of 60 photographs were obtained at three different heights, 98, 92, and 82 cm, respectively, which, once exported to Agisoft Metashape Standard, resulted in models with details that allow the recognition of basic anatomical structures for the planning of any dental treatment. Thanks to Blender's editing and modeling tools, it was possible to improve the mesh of each model, increasing the number of triangles, regularizing the surfaces, and achieving a smoother object. This program also allows simulation dental treatments thanks to the different types of brushes and paintbrushes. |
