| Shrnutí: | This research relates the application of the software "Childware" used for the improvement of mathematical logical thinking in children of 5-6 years of age at Fernando Daquilema Education Unit (UEFD) from the city of Riobamba, since nowadays learning technologies in education have advanced in innovative ways worldwide. At present, educational software is very important for learning different subjects as well as the development of mathematical logical thinking which has presented major problems in early education. For this reason, this investigation seeks to facilitate the process of teaching mathematics with the above-mentioned technique. For the analysis and the use of the software, a trial session was conducted in the computer lab of the institution (UEFD). Thus, providing excellent favorable results in the development of children's thinking, so the advantages of using multimedia programs as a teaching material was determined to be the main objective of this study. This field research is descriptive and explanatory. It allowed the application of instruments such as-a children’s observation sheet and a teacher survey. It also permitted to work directly with those involved, who are 35 students and a teacher. The research ended with the tabulation of data, diagrams, statistical charts, analysis and interpretation. Consequently, the use of Innovative Communication Technologies (ICT) is recommended because it arouses curiosity, interest, encouragement and agility for student learning and progress. |
