| Ամփոփում: | Over time, several cultures strive to educate generations by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for life. This research aims to investigate the ancestral knowledge for the learning of Natural Sciences by the students of Eighth Year “A” of the “Penipe” Millennium Educational Unit; because when working with this group of students, little awareness was observed for the conservation of ancestral knowledge and, at the same time, shortcomings in the development in the learning of Natural Sciences. Based on Brunner’s constructivist theory in which every human being learns by himself under a psycho-social perspective and in the Philosophy of Land. The methodology focused on a qualitative approach and ethnographic design because it was oriented to describe ancestral knowledge and practices of the residents of Penipe. In addition, this investigation was descriptive, on field, bibliographic, and purposeful. For the data collection, an interview was used, it was applied to thirty students from the Eighth Year, and they answered a guide of ten questions. The analysis and discussion of the information collected in the interviews was carried out; and the didactic guide of ancestral knowledge for learning Natural Sciences, which was not implemented, was designed. In this way, it is concluded that the use of ancestral knowledge guides the learning process of Natural Sciences in a better way. It is recommended to research topics related to ancestral knowledge and the didactic guide proposed in this research was put into practice. |
