| Shrnutí: | The objective of the present study was to analyze psychopathy and attachment in incarcerated individuals through a descriptive bibliographic investigation. The study considered a population of 130 articles published between 2014 and 2024 in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. From this pool, a sample of 36 quantitative articles was collected using selection criteria and search algorithms from various databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, Science Direct, Redalyc, ProQuest, Scielo, ResearchGate, PubMed, and Dialnet. Additionally, the methodological quality of the selected articles was assessed using the CRF-QS rating matrix. The results indicated that within the prison population, clinical features of psychopathy were prevalent, such as manipulation, aggression, hostility, lack of empathy, low frustration tolerance, impulsivity, egocentrism, and insensitivity. There was also a predominance of the criminal or pure psychopath subtype among individuals exhibiting psychopathy. Regarding attachment in incarcerated individuals, a prevalence of anxious and ambivalent attachment was identified, characterized by aggression, insecurity, fear of abandonment, and a tendency to engage in unstable relationships, often displaying jealousy. In conclusion, both psychopathy and attachment are factors that can influence the behavior of the prison population. |
