| Summary: | The present research deals with emotional management in social skills in children of kindergarten level 2 parallel “B” of the Educational Unit “Pedro Vicente Maldonado,” cantón Riobamba. Its general objective is to determine the emotional management in the development of social skills in children of this institution. The search for information for this project is based on different reliable and truthful documents such as magazines, university repositories, book, etc. From the theoretical point of view, the management of emotions is the ability to perceive, use, understand, and manage emotions, both their own and others; this management allows the healthy expression of, while social skills consist in the development of communication, empathy, self-confidence, and cooperation with their peers allowing the resolution of problems, this gives way to growth in personal life, promoting a positive social environment and contributes to increasing confidence and satisfaction in daily interactions that occur in the environment. Methodologically, this was a qualitative, non-experimental research; the type of study was field, bibliographic, and cross-sectional. The technique used was the observation, with its respective instrument, the observation form. The population consisted of 25 students of the initial level 2 parallel “B” of the “Pedro Vicente Maldonado” Education Unit. The conclusion is that it is vital to contribute to improving emotional management, through which children can be stimulated for a positive relationship in their social skills. |
