| Summary: | The main objective of this research work is to analyze the social network Facebook as a communication tool in the Patate during the period of from June to December 2017. A first diagnosis was made and then continue with an analysis through surveys and interviews which helped to determine how appropriate is the use of this tool and its impact it to form the Patate Institutional Image of GADM also, several methods and techniques of investigation were applied to contribute to the investigation, among them a documentary collection which supported this investigation thanks, to the contribution of several authors with books or scientific articles; the research field that allowed us to go to the place of the facts, the Patate Institutional Image of GADM and finally a descriptive investigation made it possible to discover the present problems in this governmental entity. On the other hand, the proposal of a strategic Plan is the personal contribution for the publication of information on Facebook, which will help to make a better management of the information by the Public Relations department of the Patate Institutional Image of GADM therefore, it will contribute to improve the Institutional Image that the municipality projects to its publics at present, since social networks, in this case Facebook, have become the main channel to create links and a sense of belonging between the institutions and their internal and external public. |
