Ամփոփում:This research work was realized to stand out the need to apply musical stimulation for the development of macro reading skills in fourth grade children of the Educational Unit "Liceo Policial Chimborazo", in the academic training process. In order to acquire significant findings from the investigation, it began with the problem description, general and specific objectives. In the analysis of the theoretical framework, emphasis was placed on the study variables: musical stimulation and the development of macro reading skills. Regarding the methodological framework, different methods were used, such as the scientific and logical methods: inductive, deductive and analytical, which is evidenced throughout the work path. The design was non-experimental because no variable was manipulated; The type of applied research was descriptive, because we refer to the investigative phenomenon. The technique used was direct observation, which is a qualitative approach; and the instrument the checklist. The findings found determined that the students were emotional and concentrated when listening to songs that they liked, which gave them more interest when applying the macro skill of reading.
