As an excellent information we indicate that the poor knowledge on sexuality, to archieve this result on the basis of surveys made by teen students in Latacunga town and Quito city. |

As an excellent information we indicate that the poor knowledge on sexuality, to archieve this result on the basis of surveys made by teen students in Latacunga town and Quito city.La sexualidad se desarrolla desde el momento de la concepción hasta la muerte siendo más notorio en la adolescencia ya que presentan varios cambios físicos y comportamentales, para una mejor comprensión el Ministerio de Salud Pública (MSP), determina esta etapa de 10 a 19 años, clasificándola en Adolescencia inicial de 10 a 13 años en este período se presentan cambios físicos, biológicos, psicológicos; la adolescencia media de 13 a 17 años donde se destaca al adolescente en una etapa de incomprensión y la adolescencia tardía de 17 a 19 años donde se tiene un pensamiento deductivo para tomar decisiones, durante este momento, el joven construye su identidad en base a conocimientos adquiridos, creencias, actitudes.
