Summary:ABSTRACT This research work called “INDIGENOUS PRESENCE IN THE PROCESSES OF SOCIAL VINDICATION OF TZALARÓN, PERIOD 1990-2018” was carried out with the objective of identifying and determining the indigenous presence, through a qualitative, quantitative and bibliographic documental research, in which surveys were conducted to a universe of 396 inhabitants, in this way, the progress of the Tzalarón community was measured through actions such as vindications, prioritizing interaction as a society, a theory proposed by the Palo Alto school, known as the “Orchestral Model of Communication”. Consequently, the analysis of hemerographic files of: El Espectador, La Prensa, Los Andes, El Comercio and El Universo newspapers, during the period 1990-2018, allowed the development of a matrix with the vindicating elements of the community, as well as formal and informal interviews to two experts on the subject, different versions were obtained for the understanding of the subject “indigenism”, its variables, advances and declines. Therefore, it was obtained as a result, that from the Law of Organizations and Regime of Communes of 1937, Tzalarón was legally recognized as a community in 1962, which has contributed to the strengthening of its identity. Thus, a scientific article is proposed to conceptualize, detail and present the results of the object of study. Keywords: vindication, interaction, indigenism, Tzalarón. Reviewed by: Mgs.
