The basic services available at Los Galtes community do not allow them to have a high quality living conditions due to the lack of infrastructure in terms of drinking water. The project developed, provides service to 97 families with housing projection of 6-members per family, therefore the studied area has a total initial population of 582 inhabitants, the lifetime of the system was designed for 20 years, taking thus a final population of 724 beneficiaries. With the contribution of the Environmental Impact Study, it is concluded that there is not a high negative impact, since the construction of the required infrastructure does not affect the flora neither the fauna of the ecosystem. The project ends with budgeting, technical specifications and the work timetable for building the system. |

The project ends with budgeting, technical specifications and the work timetable for building the system.El presente proyecto titulado "DISEÑO DEL SISTEMA DE AGUA POTABLE PARA LOS SECTORES SINTAGUZO, TROJE, LUCEROPAMBA Y CHINIGUAICO DE LA COMUNIDAD LOS GALTES, PARROQUIA PALMIRA, CANTÓN GUAMOTE, MEDIANTE LA APLICACIÓN DEL SOFTWARE EPANET", se desarrolló con el objetivo de dotar a la comunidad interesada con los estudios para la construcción de un sistema de agua potable, de manera que cuenten con un sistema eficiente, confiable, técnicamente diseñado y que cumpla con los parámetros y especificaciones técnicas y ambientales vigentes. Los servicios básicos de los que dispone la comunidad de Los Galtes no permiten que su condición de vida sea de calidad, debido a la falta de infraestructura en lo referente a agua potable. El proyecto desarrollado a continuación brindará el servicio a 97 familias con proyección de vivienda de 6 miembros por familia, por lo tanto el área en estudio tiene una población inicial total de 582 habitantes, la vida útil del sistema se diseñó para 20 años teniendo así una población final de 724 beneficiarios. Con el aporte del Estudio de Impactos Ambientales, se concluye que no existe un impacto negativo de consideración, ya que la construcción de la infraestructura requerida no afecta ni a la flora, ni a la fauna del ecosistema.
