| Achoimre: | The main objective of this study was to analyze the dimensions of emotional intelligence and level of anxiety presented by the candidates for operational technical servers of the GOE-Guano Vocational Training Center, 2019. The study sample included 33 police officers. The methodology used was quantitative, bibliographic, cross-sectional, non-experimental and descriptive. The techniques used were information collection, documentary review and observation, as an instrument the Trait-Meta Mood Scale (MMS-24) was used for emotional intelligence and for anxiety the Hamilton anxiety scale. Among the main results it was shown that 48.7% have adequate emotional attention, 55.3% of the population has adequate emotional clarity and 51.3% have an adequate level of emotional repair. Regarding the anxiety variable, the following results were obtained, 56.6% of the population has no anxiety, 42.1% of police applicants have lower anxiety levels and 1.3% have greater anxiety. Due to the porcentaje obtained, a proposal for psychological intervention was developed for police applicants, for anxiety and emotional intelligence, which aims to reduce anxiety levels and improve the emotional intelligence present in police applicants. |
