Tóm tắt:ABSTRACT: The objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between regional tourism demand and rural tourism supply in the community of Chimborazo. The research is analytical, explanatory, with a non-experimental and correlational design where variables such as demand and supply were studied in a significant way in order to provide a solution to the problem posed. It should be emphasized that the work has a qualitative and quantitative approach which helped to determine the existing relationship between the variables through the testing of hypotheses. Being a field research, information was collected with the help of a survey applied to 15 service providers for the dependent variable (Tourism Supply) in which the following study dimensions were evaluated: tourism products, tourist attractions and market; for the independent variable (Tourism Demand) it was applied to 30 tourists considering the following aspects: sociodemographic factors, tourist visits and customer satisfaction. In addition, through Spearman's Rho statistical analysis in SPSS it was verified that there is no relationship between the study variables resulting in the acceptance of the null hypotheses and rejecting the alternatives, however, the factors studied are important because through them the permanence of tourists can be carried out which generates the use of the attractions and consumption of the services of the place. After the analysis of the surveys applied in the research and based on the demand of the tourists, 3 types of markets were identified: recreational tourism market, gastronomic tourism market and cultural tourism market. Finally, a brief proposal is presented in order to determine strategies to determine these potential markets of the community tourism offer and through this guide to be able to offer a quality tourist service, respectful of its environment and the inhabitants that inhabit the place in a sustainable manner and in turn achieve the satisfaction of the tourist thus strengthening the tourist offer of the Chimborazo community.
