Description
Summary:The research work entitled "Proposal for a lecture on the Indigenous Uprising of 1871 for thirdyear high school students of the Fernando Daquilema Educational Unit" had the general objective of developing a proposal for a lecture that would allow analyzing the history of the Indigenous uprising of the Yaruquíes of 1871, in the third year of high school at the Fernando Daquilema Educational Unit. Essential skills are identified, and a proposed teaching proposal addresses these deficiencies through a comprehensive methodology oriented toward meaningful learning. The methodology includes interviews with History teachers and surveys with third-year high school students at the Fernando Daquilema Educational Unit. These methods allow us to identify critical skills, problems in students' knowledge, and specific areas to address in the teaching proposal. In the results obtained through the interview with History teachers and the survey applied to thirdyear high school students at the Fernando Daquilema Educational Unit, significant gaps in the students' knowledge about the indigenous uprising of 1871 were evident. The lack of detailed information on fundamental historical events and the poor connection between these events and contemporary reality were identified as critical problems. In conclusion, the professorship proposal is presented as a response to the deficiencies identified in the student's knowledge, considering that the comprehensive approach to the development of skills, the selection of specific skills, and the consideration of innovative methodologies contribute to a proposal pedagogy that seeks to improve students' understanding and connection with the indigenous uprising of 1871. Therefore, implementing awareness programs and multimedia educational resources is recommended, as well as training teachers in innovative methodologies. Creating collaborative spaces for teachers is suggested to improve the exchange of experiences and best practices.
