“Elaboración de un manual para la gestión de riesgos Físicos-Ambientales, mecánicos y ergonómicos en el área de talleres de la empresa automotores de la sierra-Assa Chevrolet, en la ciudad de Riobamba”

The ASSA- Chevrolet company has as main activity, the sale of vehicles and their maintenance in the workshop area creating risks for employees, this project proposes the development of a manual for managing Physical- Environmental, mechanical Risks and ergonomics in the workshop area of the company Automotores de la sierra- Assa Chevrolet, in the city of Riobamba which has been identified dependencies and activities developed in each of the jobs, by adopting tools as the Check List, William Fine, Rula Survey and the initial identification of hazards in which the three risks that arise in the workshop area was assessed developed. By applying suitable methods for each type of occupational risk, a technical measurement process was used, as well as evaluation of physical Environmental Risks, Mechanical and Ergonomic, verifying results with the current legislation of our country. After the identification, measurement and assessment of risk factors and the data collection, the manual for managing physical- environmental, mechanical and ergonomic hazards was elaborated, under the points set out in the guidance provided by the risk management department of labor it and IESS. Through the identification of risk and the development of the manual for managing Physical- Environmental, Mechanical and ergonomic hazards, the company Automotores de la Sierra- Assa Chevrolet already has adequate protection for employees, plus the company is prepared to minimize occupational hazards and diseases caused by everyday activities.
