Gaia:The thesis entitled "Analysis of emotional regulation and conflict management in public servants of the 11th Transport Wing of the Ecuadorian Air Force stationed in the city of Latacunga" had as its main objective to analyze the relationship between emotional regulation and conflict management styles in this group of public servants. The research uses a quantitative, non-experimental, bibliographic and field approach, with a descriptive scope, using the Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS) and the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Management Styles Questionnaire and to measure both variables in a non-probabilistic sample of a total of 158 participants. The results reveal that the styles collaborator (88%) and compromise (86.7%) are the predominant ones, associated with better emotional regulation. In contrast, the competitor and avoidance styles show a significant negative correlation with emotional regulation. It is concluded that public servants who adopt cooperative approaches tend to manage their emotions better, which highlights the importance of promoting these styles to improve work coexistence and emotional health.
