“Efectos de la polimerización en la microdureza de la resina nano-hibrida. Ambato-Riobamba 2018”

The objective of the research was to analyse the effects of polymerization on the microhardness of the Z250XT 3mESPE nano-hybrid resin, a descriptive, applied, experimental type study where the effects of polymerization on the microhardness of the Nano-hybrid resin. In which a non probabilistic intentional sample of 30 preformed cylinders of 4mm wide by 4mm High were used in a stainless Steel matrix, where 15 cylinders of resin were polymerized with a halogen light lamp for 30 seconds every 2 mm, 15 cylinders of resin were polymerized with LED light lamp for 20 seconds every 2 mm, which were prepared to be taken to the microdurometer Vickers in the materials laboratory of the mechanical Metal production center bodywork of theProvince of Tungurahua, applying the ISO 6507-1 standardfor Vickers hardness of materials using a force of 9807N(1000kg/F), where when tested under this force in the Vickers Durometer, results of mean hardness 93.48 VH were obtained in polymerized cylinders with Halogen light lamp ,with LED light lamp was obtained a result of mediumhardness 99.3 VH. With these results we used the tests of Mann-Whitney U since the data do not have a normality where it was obtained that the polymerization with the halogen light lamp and LED light lamp if it affected the microhardness of the nano hybrid resin leaving with better results to the LED Light Curing lamp.
