Etiketle | Özet: | ABSTRACT The research was focused on the literature review modality, revealing as a primary objective the effectiveness of early rehabilitation in the prevention of respiratory complications in intensive care patients, determining the effectiveness of the different techniques that are used in an early rehabilitation protocol such as early mobilization, postural changes, and respiratory physiotherapy. The importance of the physiotherapist in the Intensive Care Unit is highlighted since he is the one in charge of carrying out the rehabilitation protocol for each patient. From the techniques above, it was concluded that they are safe and effective, but they should be performed in a controlled manner by a multidisciplinary group of professionals. For the research process, information was collected from 2011 onwards, analyzing 100 scientific articles in languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese and German, which were found in different databases such as Scielo, PubMed, Dialnet, Google Scholar, Oxford Academic, Elsevier, Science Direct, WorldWideScience. By applying the PEDro Scale, those articles that did not meet a rating equal to or higher than six were discarded. After the respective research, after analyzing the scientific articles of the different authors, it was possible to achieve the stated objective that early rehabilitation with its different techniques such as early mobilization, postural changes, and respiratory physiotherapy favor early recovery in ICU patients who present respiratory complications, thus improving their quality of life.
