La familia como promotora del desarrollo de destrezas blandas para el cumplimiento del proyecto de vida en los estudiantes de Educación Básica Superior de la Unidad Educativa Sicalpa durante el año lectivo 2023-2024

In Colta, they have a worrying school dropout rate given that a considerable percentage of upper primary students have left their studies to join activities and jobs that are not appropriate to their age. Therefore, the main objective of the research is to analyze the interaction of the family as a promoter of the development of soft skills for the fulfillment of the life project in Higher Basic Education students of the Sicalpa Educational Unit during the 2023-2024 school year. With a qualitative approach, a quasi-experimental design, and a descriptive scope. The survey was used as a data collection technique, and a questionnaire as an instrument. The population was made up of 51 legal representatives of the higher sublevel of Basic Education. The objectives of the investigation were achieved. Consequently, the first variable, soft skills, highlights the fact that parents have strengthened their role after the intervention; they now create spaces to talk about their lives, exchanging anecdotes where their relationship and communication have increased, referring to the second life project variable, the figures indicate that they have improved because parents let their children make decisions and solve problems, thus providing security and self-confidence.
