Sammanfattning: | The main objective of this thesis is the "STUDY AND DESIGN OF A RING OF FIBER OPTICS TO INTERCONECT AND PROTECT VARIOUS CENTERS AND REPEATER OF THE CNT-EP CHIMBORAZO, TO PROVIDE HIGH SPEED DATA SERVICES AND TRIPPLE PLAY", this project consists in design a ring telecommunications network that has enough transportation and protection capacity to cover to the demand for current and future services in the southern sector of the city of Riobamba in the Chimborazo province. For the project of the design, a planning process was carried out in which the needs of the current network were determined, as well as the specifications and parameters of each of the elements that will form the new network, such as: fiber optic cables, equipment and accessories, civil infrastructure and the topologies to implement among others. In order to carry out the respective engineering process in which the approaches are corroborated and the routes, the laying of the cable and the premises that govern the connections to be made are determined. The general scope of the project includes: The engineering and design of the ring transmission network, as well as transportation technology that allows to carry out the evolution of the transportation technologies making the resources profitable, migrating the services in a transparent way and allowing the scalability to support the new demands of bandwidth and future performance, in addition to the respective protections needed for both the central and the repeater. In this work the current links with their respective capacities are illustrated, at the same time the design of a fiber optic ring is presented, which projects to link the centrals which start from the South Node, La Libertad, San Luis, Santa Bárbara, Punín, Pompeya, Licto, Repeater Tulabug (Node B), Supertel and again the surprise Node to close the ring. |
