| Summary: | ABSTRAC Parkinson's disease (PD) is a type of movement disorder that can affect the ability to perform common daily activities. PD is a neurodegenerative disease where there is a loss of neurons (nerve cells) in certain areas of the brain. The cause of most cases of PD is still unknown, although scientists believe that both genetics and the environment interact to cause PD in most people who have it. The present study sought to know the effects of physical exercise in patients with Parkinson's. A bibliographic-type methodology was used, since the review of the information was developed through a systematic search strategy and under the parameters of the PEDro scale. In such a way that among the results, 28 scientific articles were found that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, these being the basis for obtaining the necessary information for the documentary development of this document. With these results it was possible to conclude that the techniques described in the study have shown to have positive effects for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, bringing with them a series of benefits that must be accompanied by pharmacological treatment for a better result and, therefore, a better lifestyle for individuals. This is why it is recommended that each specialist timely evaluate patients to determine what would be the complementary treatment that is presented as an effective alternative for patients with this condition.
