| Summary: | ABSTRACT: The main objective of this research study was to examine the educommunication and literacy strategies within the fiscal schools of Chimborazo in the year 2022 and the influence on the positive development of learning through new methods and the use of technological tools, as well as the application of interactive games and audiobooks for teaching. The research is composed of a mixed approach that combines quantitative and qualitative methods in order to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies in the development of reading comprehension and digital competencies of children, revealing a significant improvement in these areas and highlighting the relevance of incorporating educational technologies in the school curriculum. Through this, it has been possible to identify challenges and opportunities in the implementation of these tools in similar contexts, highlighting the importance of collaboration between teachers and continuous training for the success of these initiatives. It also highlights the need to adapt technological resources to the cultural and linguistic particularities of the region. Noting that the participation of the educational community is crucial for the sustainable development of these strategies and how Educommunication has improved literacy and teaching processes, evidencing a commitment to inclusion and accessibility, highlighting the importance of collaboration between universities, teachers and students as a key element for the success of dynamic and sustainable long-term projects in favor of education and applied communication in schools.
