Zusammenfassung:In this case study Process Nursing Care was applied on a patient 10 months old, who was hospitalized for 25 days in the pediatric areaof the Provincial General Teaching Hospital Riobamba, with a medical diagnosis of Pneumonia + Pleural Effusion + Moderate Malnutrition, he was also performed several procedures including pleural pucture. The assessment was performed in the hospital area as the 14 requirements Virginia Henderson, and the home area assessment according to the Theory Kathryn Barnard "interaction model parent - child - environment", so the main nursing diagnoses NANDA obtained the results and interventions were made based on the NOC and NIC taxonomies, pretending to meet patient needs and improve the environment and family integration for the benefit of the child. Inpatient: Ineffective breathing pattern ineffective cleaning the airway, Hyperthermia, Acute pain, nutritional imbalance: below requirements intake, Anxiety Given the above the following process Enfermero which was presented the following diagnoses NANDA prioritized mother, Risk of infection, with the objectives and independent interventions physiological and perceived improved child health and meeting the needs presented during their hospitalization. In addition 9 home visits were made, in which the following nursing diagnoses to Extrahospitalarios level prioritized: Nutritional imbalance: less than body needs intake, interruption of breastfeeding, parental impairment, poor knowledge of the mother and maternal anxiety . For the execution of the study counted with the consent of the mother as well as their availability and willingness to participate and acquire the knowledge, during home visits, making the end of home monitoring improved interaction parent, child, environment and turn a rewarding satisfaction mother and a marked improvement in the care provided to the child at all times providing solutions to the perceived needs immediately.
