El valor del tiempo en los desplazamientos al trabajo en el sector urbano y su incidencia en la economía familiar del cantón Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo, en el año 2014.

In this research is conducted a study on the estimation of the time in the urban sector of the canton Riobamba, Chimborazo province whose main purpose was to determine whether the monetary value in travel times used by the head of the household to the workplace affects the family economy, establishing socio-economic factors, transport and mobility. Displays bibliographic information and quantitative, using charts, analysis and discussion of results. In Chapter I, the reference framework provides that part of the problem statement, besides the objectives that give reason for the study, both general and specific, and finally reach the justification and importance. In chapter II the theoretical framework, where it is conceptualized and studied the main variables of study based on the theory DeSerpa develops, the same that emphasizes the classical model of consumer behavior; standing at the microeconomic context of discrete choice and study of transport economics. In Chapter III the methodological framework, in which the methodology, the type of research, the population, the sample is determined and the econometric model Logit is established to determine the economic behavior of the value of travel time to work is explained and impact on the household economy. In Chapter IV the conclusions drawn once the investigation and recommendations to assist in the solution of the problem is proposed is spelled.
