Crynodeb:The pandemic caused by the new coronavirus, it is described as a respiratory disease and named as COVID-19; has carried with it countless infections and deaths every day, currently becoming a health problem and an increase of the complications in people with risk factors and additional comorbidities present. It was carried out the bibliographic review entitled: knowledge of the nursing staff for the care of the patient with COVID-19 Quito 2020, mentioning the activities aimed at the nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team.The main objective was to systematize researches about the knowledge of the nursing staff for the care at patient with COVID-19. In the methodology were taken 80 information sources within which 46 are intended for analysis by means of comparison of authors in triangulation, from scientific bases such as PubMed, Scielo, Dialnet, Sciencedirect, Researchgate, Redalyc, Medigraphic Elsevier, Medwave, DOAJ, in organisms national and international published in 2020, culminating in discussion of results. At present, knowledge about care and clinical management continues in exploration and researching, Furthermore, the majority of it brings together an interdisciplinary team, although few studies are exclusively related to nursing, these focus on the implementation of care based on the assessment of the patient in relation to the pathological development to provide real or potential nursing diagnoses, aimed at preventing complications.; making it known that there are domains altered mostly according to NANDA taxonomy such as safety / protection, activity / rest, elimination and exchange, coping with stress, comfort, perception / cognition and nutrition
