Ciclo activo de técnicas respiratorias en pacientes adultos con enfermedades respiratorias. Hospital General de Latacunga, 2019

The following research work is going to talk about “The active cycle of respiratory techniques in adult patients with respiratory diseases. General Hospital of Latacunga”. It has the objective to apply the technic of the active cycle of respiratory techniques (ACBT), for the mobilization of bronchial secretions. This investigation includes the quantitative methodology; this was applied in a population of patients with ages between 19 and 64 years old with respiratory pathologies like: pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, bronchitis. It was quantified the ranges sputum that was measured in milliliters, it had been used the auscultation both at the first and last test. The technique applied at the patients with respiratory diseases as Pneumonia and EPOC. It was improved the respiratory quality, mobilization and elimination of sputum trough the results. It was an oxygen saturation within normal parameters. It was found a statistically significant difference between the median numbers of hemoglobin oxygen saturation trough oxygen before and after the process ACBT (p=0.00). It wasn’t found a statistically significant difference between the quantity of sputum already pick up with the patient pathology categories (p=0.93), so that technic works same for patients with EPOC and Pneumonia.
