Резюме:Root canal obturation is a fundamental step in endodontic treatment. Its purpose is to ensure the elimination of infection and prevent its recurrence. In the case of apexogenesis and apexification, these are two techniques for the treatment of immature teeth with pathologies. Objective: To compare and analyze the obturation materials used in the apexogenesis and apexification processes in order to determine which of them offered the best results in terms of treatment success, apical barrier formation, resistance to fracture and long - term pulp health. Materials and methods: A qualitative systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA method. Articles were selected from databases such as Scopus, Dialnet and PubMed. Results: A total of 152 articles were collected and after reviewing inclusion and exclusion criteria, 144 articles were excluded. On analysis, 8 articles were identified for review of the topic. Conclusion: This analysis concluded that the choice of the appropriate filling material was crucial for the success of apexogenesis and apexification.
