Pers., so that the objective of the study is to collect ethnobotanical, phytochemical and pharmacological information of the medicinal plant Kalanchoe pinnata; (Lam.) Pers. For this, a methodology oriented to the bibliographic search was used in which a set of articles and books with a margin of no more than five years old for journal articles and no more than 10 years old for books was considered. In the same way, search descriptors such as "ethnobotany", "phytochemistry", "phytochemistry" and "pharmacology" were used. The results permitted to gather a large amount of information, from which it is concluded that for the ethnobotanical characteristics, the plant is mainly used at a traditional level as a medicinal plant, while for the phytochemical characteristics, it has different compounds useful for medicinal production, so that for the pharmacological aspects of the plant, some of the main ones lie in effects for both external and internal use. Although it is important to stress the need for a correct dosage of its administration, because it can become toxic for both humans and animals. |
