ট্যাগ যুক্ত করুন | সংক্ষিপ্ত: | The Micro Implant-Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion (MARPE) is an effective technique to correct transversal deficiencies of the maxillary, particularly in adult patients since the specialist plans the procedure through a tomography where they measure the micro implants and decide the place of their placement as well as the size of the device with the available numbers according to the manufacturer that can also choose the laboratory. After that, the micro implant guide is received, the drag impression or the laboratory carries out the adaptation of bands and bend the arms of the expander. Finally, the bands are welded, polished, and refined. This study proposes a standardized protocol to elaborate the MARPE at the laboratory improving, in this way, the clinical results of the skeletal maxillary expansion. Through the review of scientific literature, the positive impact of MARPE is validated on patients of different ages, offering a protocol for dental technicians and orthodontic specialists. |
