| description | Humanized labor empowers women to make conscious decisions about their bodies and the birthing process. Therefore, this research document aimed to systematize the nursing interventions used in humanized labor. The research methodology was systematic and bibliographic, starting with a review of sources in databases. The search was conducted in major health-related databases, obtaining a total of 36 articles. The main results determined that, in Ecuador, free positioning during the birthing process is being promoted in various health establishments. Additionally, for the implementation of humanized care in the nursing field, the importance of continuous updating and teamwork collaboration is emphasized. The relevance of a humanized approach to childbirth is highlighted, which is defined as a safe, natural, and participatory process that guarantees the woman’s right to be heard and to make informed decisions. It is emphasized that nursing staff must possess technical-scientific knowledge of the procedure to meet the needs of the pregnant woman. Finally, the research concluded that the humanized labor approach allows for freedom of positioning and minimizes unnecessary medical interventions. Furthermore, humanized care in childbirth aims to respect women’s rights and choices, providing comprehensive and person-centered care. |

Furthermore, humanized care in childbirth aims to respect women’s rights and choices, providing comprehensive and person-centered care.El parto humanizado faculta a la mujer para decidir de forma consciente acerca de su cuerpo y el proceso de dar a luz; por ello, el presente documento de investigación tuvo como objetivo sistematizar las intervenciones de enfermería utilizadas en el parto humanizado. La metodología de investigación fue de tipo sistemático y de enfoque bibliográfico iniciado con la revisión de fuentes en bases de datos. Se realizó la búsqueda en principales bases de datos relativos al área de salud, obteniendo un total de 36 artículos. Los principales resultados determinaron que, en Ecuador, se está fomentando la libre posición durante el proceso de parto en diversos establecimientos de salud; además, para la implementación de una atención humanizada en el ámbito de la enfermería, se subraya la importancia de la actualización continua y la colaboración en equipo. Se resaltan la relevancia de un enfoque humanizado del parto, el cual se define como un proceso seguro, natural y participativo que garantiza el derecho de la mujer a ser escuchada y a tomar decisiones informadas. Se hace hincapié en que el personal de enfermería debe poseer un conocimiento técnico-científico del procedimiento con el fin de satisfacer las necesidades de la mujer embarazada.
