Forty full-text studies were reviewed, of which only six met the eligibility criteria. The introduction presents Sturge-Weber syndrome and highlights the importance of understanding the clinical characteristics of this rare but relevant condition for the medical and scientific community. The materials and methods section describes the search strategy and eligibility criteria for study selection. It also mentions data analysis through comparative tables to facilitate the research. Regarding the conclusions, the results obtained from the literature review are presented, emphasizing the variable clinical characteristics of Sturge-Weber syndrome in patients with an underdiagnosis of infant hemangioma. |

Se realizó una búsqueda de artículos publicados sin restricción de idioma y con disponibilidad de texto completo, estableciendo criterios de elegibilidad para la selección de estudios. Se revisaron 40 estudios en texto completo, de los cuales solo 6 cumplieron con los criterios de elegibilidad. En la introducción, se presenta el síndrome de Sturge-Weber, así como la importancia de conocer las características clínicas de este síndrome poco común pero relevante para la comunidad médica y científica. En la sección de materiales y métodos, se describe la búsqueda realizada y los criterios de elegibilidad para la selección de estudios. También se menciona el análisis de datos a través de tablas comparativas para facilitar la investigación.
