| Shrnutí: | Introduction: phimosis is a condition that affects males of different ages where it is the difficulty in retracting the skin of the penile foreskin. It has a higher prevalence in pediatric patients, and treatment is mainly surgical (post - ectomy), with the aim of uncovering the foreskin, where postoperative nursing care is required for a safe recovery and to avoid complications. Objective: To describe the main post - operative nursing care in patients with postoctomy based on a systematic review of the last 4 years of publications in recognized databases. Methodology: Qualitative, descriptive and analytical research based on a systematic review of nursing care in post - operative and post - ectomy patients which included 20 relevant papers. Results: The studies conducted 9 articles on post - operative nursing care and demonstrated that it is a common and prevalent condition in pediatric patients and 11 papers focused on post - operative nursing care, highlighting the importance of comprehensive and personalized care. Discussion: The studies analyzed highlight the importance of the care, education and emotional support provided by nursing staff in post - operative recovery, taking a multidisciplinary approach to prevent complications such as bleeding and infection, in addition to relieve pain and provide focused care at the surgical wound level. Conclusions: Post - operative nursing care guarantees a correct recovery, thus improving the condition of the patient and avoiding typical complications of a surgical procedure. |
