| Résumé: | Introduction: The main nursing care, before, during and after the administration of sedoanalgesia, in paediatric patients in ICU, were the assessment, safe administration of medications using the correct 10, hemodynamic monitoring, sedation scale evaluation ensuring th at patients receive an adequate dose, which avoids adverse events. Objective: to determine nursing care through bibliographic review in the administration of sedoanalgesia in paediatric patients in the intensive care unit. Methodology: the bib liographic review was approached under a qualitative approach, which was supported by published scientific articles, from 2020 to 2024, descriptive included database publications: Scielo, Elsevier, PudMed, Institutional Repositions, Google Scholar, Redalyc and Dialnet, to determine nursing care in the administration of sedoanalgesia in paediatric patients. Results: the nursing care received by paediatric patients was determined, in the administration of sedoanalgesia, assessment, patient safety, hemodynamic monitoring, evaluation of sedation scales, these activities meet the profile of their experience, knowledge and human quality. Conclusions: the nursing professional plays a fundamental role in the care of critical patients, especially in the administration of sedoanalgesia by applying the correct 10, assessment of the patient, their vital signs, and monitoring the Ramsay, Rass, BIS scales, th e response of patients undergoing this treatment to avoid infrasedation or oversedation, and adjust the appropriate dose, at each moment of their clinical evolution.
