| Zusammenfassung: | Cardiovascular and ventilatory emergencies that arise during the intraoperative period cause significant disruptions to the patient’s homeostasis, compromising vital signs and endangering physiological integrity. These critical situations demand an immediate, effective, and well-coordinated response from the surgical team. However, established protocols are not always followed in response to specific situations that occur during surgery. For this reason, the general objective of this research is to design a nursing intervention protocol aimed at managing cardiovascular and ventilatory emergencies in adult patients during the intraoperative period, to promote hemodynamic and respiratory stabilization and prevent the onset of critical complications. This study used the PRISMA methodology for the documentary analysis of 18 articles selected from databases such as PubMed, SciELO, Google Scholar, LATINDEX, and DOAJ, covering the period 2020–2025. The most relevant findings of this study highlight the importance of applying adaptable and effective nursing interventions during the intraoperative period, which support rapid decision-making based on clinically and scientifically grounded criteria under various surgical constraints. The study also emphasizes the interdisciplinary involvement of the healthcare team in addressing cardiorespiratory emergencies for the benefit of the patient. |
