Achoimre:For the various conditions that occur in the knee joint, there is a surgery called arthroscopy, which is considered minimally invasive and a less aggressive therapeutic alternative compared to conventional surgery. Therefore, post-surgical nursing care is of great importance to achieve better recovery outcomes in a patient. The objective of this research was to propose a guide for postoperative care in knee arthroscopic surgery in Ecuador, through a bibliographic review. The methodology used had a qualitative, non-experimental, exploratory, and cross-sectional approach, covering the last 5 years through a bibliographic review of scientific articles. The information selected was based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Among the most relevant findings on effective post-surgical nursing care are pain management, wound care, early mobilization, and patient education. The results have shown that applying these care practices leads to rapid recovery and patient satisfaction, thus reducing their stay in the healthcare institution. Understanding the impact of post-surgical care in knee arthroscopy provided by the nursing team on the patient will help standardize postoperative care.
