總結:Introduction: Infections associated with health services (AHS), are the ones that affect patients during hospitalization. Many procedures involve the use of medical devices and reusable instruments that closely interact with sterile tissues or mucous membranes, thus becoming a link in the incidence of infections associated with health services. Objective: To analyze nursing interventions in low-temperature sterilization of medical devices for intraoperative use. Methodology: This is a systematic review with a qualitative, descriptive design, utilizing a PICO question to focus the search and applying the PRISMA method for selecting documents to analyze. Results: The nursing staff in charge of the operating room and the equipment used in surgeries must be properly trained, periodically updated, and supported with the necessary resources to perform their tasks. The importance of using appropriate sterilization methods, such as low-temperature sterilization, in accordance with the material of these devices and resource availability, is highlighted, recommending outsourcing if costs are very high. Conclusion: Nursing interventions in low-temperature sterilization are crucial for patient safety in surgical procedures. Although nursing staff have good theoretical knowledge, practical application shows deficiencies. It is essential to strengthen practical training and establish rigorous standards in sterilization centers, as well as evaluate the efficiency of the methods used. These actions will ensure the quality of care and patient health.
