Interviews were conducted with judges in the criminal area of Quevedo canton, using questions that range from the definition of cybercrimes to the effectiveness of Ecuadorian laws. The methods include a qualitative analysis of the responses obtained to identify common patterns and ideas among the interviewees. The results show a lack of resources, training, and speed in the processes, as well as a reluctance to report by the affected parties. |

The results show a lack of resources, training, and speed in the processes, as well as a reluctance to report by the affected parties.La importancia de abordar los delitos informáticos cometidos por personas jurídicas en el cantón Quevedo, radica en su impacto significativo ante el aumento del uso de la tecnología para robos cibernéticos, los cuales están en crecimiento afectando a la sociedad. Este trabajo se enfoca en evaluar la suficiencia de las leyes ecuatorianas para enfrentar estos delitos, con el objeto de identificar áreas de mejora. Se realizaron entrevistas a magistrados, utilizando preguntas que abarcan desde la definición de delitos informáticos hasta la efectividad de las leyes ecuatorianas. Los métodos incluyen un análisis cualitativo de las respuestas obtenidas para identificar esquemas e ideas comunes entre los entrevistados. Los resultados muestran que varios juristas están de acuerdo en la deficiencia en la aplicación práctica, incluyendo la falta de recursos, capacitaciones, y celeridad en los procesos. Además de observar una resistencia a la denuncia por parte del afectado.
