Participación política y violencia psicológica de género en contra de la mujer en el Ecuador desde 1997-2021.

The purpose of this research work is to verify the legal reality by theoretically analyzing the background and circumstances of political violence and psychological gender violence in Ecuador, which concludes by examining the two types of gender violence, one from participation and the other systematized in the woman's environment. Although gender-based political violence also has psychological effects, it manifests itself with other circumstances that individualize it and separate it in terms of the judicial treatment of both forms of violence. In this document, qualitative, narrative, descriptive, analytical and synthetic research was implemented, as well as the technique of interviews with female politicians who were victims of political violence at the time of their participation or already holding elected office, as well as a victim of gender violence, with whom these two manifestations of violence were identified and compared in women's vulnerability. The result of this work has been a legal analysis presented in the form of a scientific paper as a proposal for this comparative study.
