總結: | Kidney transplant (KT) has advanced significantly in surgical techniques, but long-term success depends largely on postoperative care, especially in the prevention of complications such as infections and graft rejection. Immunosuppression, necessary to avoid rejection, increases the risk of serious infections, while constant monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is essential. Although KT improves the quality of life and survival against dialysis, there are still postoperative risks that require specialized attention. The role of the nursing staff is vital, not only in physical care, but also in the emotional and educational support of the patient and his family to ensure an optimal and prolonged recovery. Objective: To determine nursing care in patients of immediate postoperative kidney transplant: systematic documentary review of the last 5 years. Methodology: Qualitative research focused on nursing care in the immediate postoperative period of kidney transplantation, using content analysis and interviews of 60 articles consulted, 20 were selected according to PRISMA criteria and a search in academic databases. Priority was given to systematic reviews and recent studies (2021-2024) in Spanish, English and Portuguese. The flexibility of the qualitative approach allowed a detailed analysis of specialized care, highlighting the importance of clinical monitoring and immunosuppressed patient management. Results: This systematic review analyses nursing care in the immediate postoperative period of kidney transplantation, based on recent studies and qualitative criteria. Conclusion: The success of long-term kidney transplantation depends largely on the postoperative care provided by the nursing staff. |
