Sumario:The process of scalloping and characterization of full denture wax, addressing the most common challenges and providing practical and scientific guidelines is to accurately restore functionality and aesthetics of the gingival anatomy. Key aspects include standardization of characterisation methods, use of advanced materials and application of techniques to simulate the color and texture of natural tissue to achieve a realistic appearance. The objective is to perform wax scalloping and characterization of a total prosthesis by systematizing professional experiences in order to perfect and standardize the process in the dental laboratory. The methodology used is research - action, since with the help of the bibliography, the systematization of practices in the elaboration of the height rhodontics was developed. In addition, the results obtained were the preparation of the scalloping and characterization in wax of total prostheses in the dental laboratory through advanced techniques of handling pigmented wax, achieving a more natural and aesthetic appearance and optimizing the theoretical - practical learning process when making total prostheses in the dental laboratory for future cohorts with training and manuals for students and professionals on the new protocol. It is concluded that this systematization aims to refine and standardize the process of scalloping and characterisation in wax for full dentures. By integrating professional experiences and scientific knowledge, the quality and consistency of prosthetic results in the dental laboratory is improved.
