Opis
Streszczenie:Artificial intelligence (AI) is crucial in the business logistics chain because it allows optimizing distribution routes, reducing operating costs and improving efficiency in real time. Through predictive algorithms, AI facilitates anticipated demand, adjusting inventories and avoiding stock - outs. The study aimed to analyze the impact of AI on logistics optimization for enhancing the global competitiveness of SMEs. The research methodology was based on the qualitative approach, with the application of a retrospective observational design for conducting a literature review of different articles obtained from multiple databases. Boolean operators were applied in conjunction with descriptors to compile the primary research. From this, inclusion and exclusion criterio were used to sift the documents until 14 studies were chosen. For the analysis of the results, the content analysis of the primary sources that were the object of the bibliographic review was applied. From this, it was obtained as a result that artificial intelligence transforms the logistics of SMEs, improving efficiency and competitiveness. Its implementation requires organizational support, overcoming economic barriers and technological training. Indeed, it is concluded that AI is key to the development of SMEs. However, the study still raises concerns about the long – term sustainability and resilience of this productive sector.
