總結: | LGBTI discrimination refers to a diverse category of people with different sexual orientations, such as lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders or intersexual; through previous research conducted, it was evidenced that there is a great unacceptability of this group of people, which is the main reason for carrying out a research project whose objective was: raising awareness through educational actions regarding the acceptance of LGBTI community in the parish Mariscal de Sucre of the Canton San Pedro de Huaca in Carchi Province. The methodology used was quantitative, supported under types of research such as bibliographic, descriptive and field; by applying a survey it was possible to gather the following results: 61% had an unacceptability position, while 20% showed a neutral position, 54% believed that discrimination was a problem affecting this group of people, on the other hand, 25% believed that there was no problem, and 21% was not sure; similarly, 51% agreed that an LGBTI person can be in a job or study environment while 20% remained neutral and 29% disagreed. Furthermore, 17% have received permanent workshops about sexual orientation, and 24% have never received any type of workshop regarding this topic. Given this current reality, diverse educational practices and strategies were created and carried out, to give a solution to this type of deficiency. |
