Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | The present research aims to implement a monitoring and control plan for the compliance of biosecurity standards by health personnel in the management of patients with tuberculosis. Currently, diseases caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis are the main cause of mortality among the adult population of the world. Early diagnosis, isolation or immediate separation of potentially tuberculosis patients, immediate introduction of antituberculosis treatment significantly reduces the risk of transmission of tuberculosis to health personnel. The methodology used is the qualitative and quantitative modality, as far as the design applics field and bibliographic research because it analyzes the central problem of research, causes effects, occurrences and collects information from different authors, uses techniques for the collection of information as an application of surveys, which are fundamental to diagnose the study problem. It was evidenced that 70% of the health personnel working in the internal medicine service of the hospital José María Velasco Ibarra de Tena do not apply biosecurity norms in the management of patients with tuberculosis, it was also evidenced that 85% have not received training in biosafety standards, so it is necessary to design and implement the monitoring and control plan for the compliance of biosafety standards by health personnel in the management of patients with tuberculosis. Through the monitoring and control plan for the compliance of biosecurity standards by health personnel in the management of patients with tuberculosis, it 15 intended to protect the integrity of health personnel involved in the care of patients and in themselves without affect the quality of the same. |
