Tilføj Tag | Summary: | The investigation took place in “El Playon” and it is aimed at developing prevention strategies for the reduction of rheumatism in the elderly since according to different investigations it is possible to diagnose and prevent it. The research study was based on qualitative-quantitative modality which allowed to elaborate an analysis and interpretation of results obtained during the research process. ln a population of 66 older adults were used methods and study techniques, such as the survey in order to get real information on attitudes and practices. In addition, it was evidenced that 70% of the elderly do not know about the different rheumatic diseases. Given this, it is incredibly important to design prevention strategies based trainings with practical workshops, educational talk and delivery of informative material to the elderly. Once the rescarch project has been completed, it is demonstrated that in the execution of prevention strategies, the elderly was made aware of the importance of knowing the prevention of rheumatism allowing to reduce the irrigation factors that occur in their daily life and improve their quality of Life without ailments. |
