Based on these considerations, the objective of this study is to identify the benefits of humanized nursing care for neonates. To achieve this, a bibliographic review was conducted, using sources from published scientific documents, academic journals, and peer-reviewed publications. The results of this research show that nursing, in its essence, is losing its fundamental role in direct patient care due to a shortage of professionals to meet demand and governmental requirements. Among the benefits for neonates, certain methodologies have been identified to help humanize nursing care for newborns, including parental and family involvement, early bonding with the mother, skin-to-skin contact, exclusive breastfeeding, open-door neonatal intensive care units (NICU) following ESAMYN regulations, and NIDCAP protocols. In conclusion, these methods contribute to improving the neurological, motor, and sensory development of newborns, thus preventing future complications. |

In conclusion, these methods contribute to improving the neurological, motor, and sensory development of newborns, thus preventing future complications.El proceso de Atención de enfermería es fundamental durante la estancia del paciente en una unidad de salud, ya que la prontitud de su recuperación dependerá mucho de la calidad de cuidados que se le brinde, es por ello que el estudio se enfoca en los cuidados de enfermería humanizados dirigido a los neonatos, pues ellos son un grupo de edad priorizada que depende al cien por ciento de la calidad de cuidados de enfermería que se le brinde, debido a estos antecedentes se ha planteado como objetivo identificar los beneficios de los cuidados de enfermería humanizados dirigido a los neonatos, para lo cual se realizó una revisión de tipo bibliográfica, con bases tomadas de la publicación de otros documentos científicos, revistas y publicaciones arbitradas académicamente. Los resultados que se obtuvieron en esta investigación evidencian que la enfermería en sí está perdiendo el sentido de ser, del cuidado directo, debido a la falta de profesionales que cumplan las demandas requeridas y a las exigencias gubernamentales; y dentro de los beneficios para los neonatos es que, existen algunas metodologías que ayudan a humanizar los cuidados de enfermería a los recién nacidos, la inclusión de los padres y la familia en general, apego precoz con la madre, contacto piel a piel, lactancia materna exclusiva, UCIN de puertas abiertas según la normativa ESAMYN, los protocolos NIDCAP.
