總結:Ovarian reserve refers to the quantity and quality of oocytes present in the ovaries, key factors in female fertility. This reserve decreases naturally over time, being especially critical in older women or women with medical conditions that affect ovarian health. Objective: To perform an updated bibliographic review of the platelet-rich plasma technique in women with low ovarian reserve in order to improve the reproductive prognosis of these patients. Methodology: this article has a qualitative methodology, non-experimental design, with a descriptive analytical-explanatory scope. Results: showed that platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can increase antimüllerian hormone (AMH) levels and decrease follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels, suggesting an improvement in ovarian function and endometrial receptivity. Although benefits in tissue regeneration and angiogenesis were observed. Conclusion: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an emerging and promising technique in reproductive medicine, especially in women with low ovarian response, but further studies are still required to validate its effectiveness and to establish adequate criteria for its application.
