要約:Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a disease that causes progressive and irreversible loss of kidney function, requiring transplantation or dialysis. Over the years, advances in renal transplantation have improved success rates, being the most effective option, and the role of nursing is crucial to ensure the success of treatment before, during and after transplantation. In Ecuador there is no specific protocol for nursing care in patients undergoing renal transplantation, that is why this research work aims to protocolize nursing interventions in patients undergoing renal transplantation in Ecuador. This qualitative literature review on nursing interventions in renal transplantation is based on scientific articles and theses, using an analytical-synthetic approach to analyze relevant information, considering reliable sources. The main result is a protocol emphasizing nursing interventions which seeks to improve the preoperative, postoperative and postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing renal transplantation, promoting an approach that optimizes the quality of nursing care in order to provide systematic and individualized care to these patients. It was concluded that it is essential to emphasize the importance of systematizing and standardizing the care provided by the surgical nursing professional in the various phases of the renal transplant process.
