Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | The work carried out by nurses in the field of critical care requires preparation, as well as constant study so that patients receive the specialized care they require by virtue of the risk to life or risk of organ or multi-organ failure, requiring the management of differentiated treatments. In this context, technology and especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications are very useful in tasks such as diagnosis and monitoring of critical patients, among others, a situation that has both benefits and disadvantages that must be analyzed. Objective: to identify the impact of the integration of new technologies in critical patient care. Methodology: a qualitative methodology was used through a systematic review of the literature dealing with this subject, applying the PRISMA methodology, with inclusion and exclusion criteria for the selection of articles. Results: analysis of 28 articles with scientific height, highlighting the undeniable integration of new technologies in the health sector, especially there has been a significant impact of AI in the work of nursing professionals in order to promote better care of critically ill patients. Conclusion: the incorporation of technology in the health sector does not seek to displace the human nature of nursing work, but to promote improvement in the health sector. |
