要約:This article deals with the nursing interventions applied to the postoperative period of one of the most complex surgeries, liver transplantation, either for patients with severe acute cirrhosis problems, liver tumors, and other pathologies such as renal failure (1). Objective: To identify nursing interventions in the immediate postoperative period of patients undergoing liver transplantation through a systematic review. Materials and methods: Review with a qualitative approach, descriptive type, review of reliable bibliographic sources and using the PRISMA method (2,3), bibliography published between 2021-2024 and with keywords specific to the topic of interest (4). Results and discussion: Liver transplantation (LT) was observed to be the definitive solution for patients with severe liver disease. However, during the postoperative period, various complications usually occur, one of the most common and serious being hepatic failure, complications in which nursing care is indispensable from NIC diagnoses, NOC results and NANDA treatment, where Roy's theory and that of Virginia Henderson on the 15 needs can be used to achieve comprehensive support from the nurse to the patient, and avoid major complications that can generate repetitive re-entries to the ICU (5). Conclusions: The crucial importance of the nurse in the immediate postoperative care of the patient undergoing liver transplantation is observed, for which a relevant and systematic execution plan must be carried out, in addition, it is expected that the nursing staff is trained and informed comprehensively in the care of this type of patients.
