Zusammenfassung: | The obtaining of facial images through the ECU 911 video surveillance system and the principle of confidentiality have been at risk, due to the fact that no explicit legal regulation on video surveillance and confidentiality was found, since under this concept it is treated as a violation of intimacy or privacy. The present research with the research line of compliance and data protection aims to analyze the incidence of obtaining facial images, through the ECU911 video surveillance system, in the presumption of the principle of confidentiality provided for in the Organic Law on Data Protection. It was developed with a qualitative approach, through doctrinal documents, journal articles, books and video surveillance case studies, with a cross-sectional research design that allowed the empirical search of web page publications. The scope of the research was of an explanatory analytical type, considering video surveillance recordings and their effect on the principle of confidentiality in the SIS ECU 911. The theoretical method of knowledge was applied as analysis - synthesis, dividing the object of study to identify its relationship with the parts and establish general characteristics from the analysis. The inductive - deductive method was used, reasoning particular cases and establishing the characteristics that motivated for the application of video surveillance and the presumption of the principle of confidentiality provided in the law of protection of personal data. |
